Sex after giving birth: 5 steps to get your sex life back on track

A few weeks after the birth of your baby, you're back at home, a happy and content mum...but the lover in you isn't sure where she stands. You're tired, devoted to your child, and still haven't got your pre-pregnancy body back, so it's not surprising that you don't really feel like making love.

Don't feel guilty about it: relighting the fire takes time, and this varies from person to person. You need to overcome, experience and accept the changes you've been through. With the help of your partner, you'll rediscover the pleasures of sex again! Here's how:

Get over the shock of childbirth
Confront your fears
Learn to love your body again
Emerge from the mother-baby bond
Put the passion back into your relationship
