Wow, I haven't blogged in so long! I have been way too busy with university work and so forth, and a little update on that. I am now a 'distance' learner, studying from home, so I don't have to spend thousands of pounds/dollars travelling to London every day. I also don't have to write boring essays on the history of early music, which is even better. All I do is practice my piano playing, and then the rest of the day is mine to chill out and do whatever I want to do. I had a job interview yesterday, a local school (Trent Valley Academy) wanted a piano/vocal teacher. Three of us went for the job in the morning, and one went in the afternoon. I went in the morning. There was myself, a woman who lived round the corner from me, and a girl who was still at school (why apply when you're at school, I don't get it?!) and then there was a person going in the afternoon. The school was amazing. I'm slightly jealous it wasn't built before, because I would have tantrumed to go there. I didn't get the job, even though i was told I was the more qualified of the three in the morning, I still don't know if the person in the afternoon was more qualified. (They probably were) So I was a little disappointed. I worked on Halloween, so I didn't get to see any trick or treaters. The small pub where I work had lots of witches and zombies roaming around it, some of the costumes were fantastic though. I went as Mrs Lovett- myself and Helena Boneham Carter both acquire crazy hair that won't do as it's told, so I thought she would be perfect to imitate. And I got shoved in the bar because I aparenty looked good. One thing that did make me laugh was that my boss was only serving lite bite 'pie and chips'. And my other boss was dressed as Sweeney Todd. All in all a great night out, even if I was working. No fireworks over here in Yorkshire, I was left disappointed because it rained, and we didn't get any to look at. OH, how can I forget?! I have a new puppy!! her name is Millie, and she's a three month old black labrador, (a very destructive puppy!) she will chew anything in sight- literally! and even chomped on the door stop so hard that we no longer had one. She attempted to chew my piano's leg too but I soon put a stop to that. The only thing she won't chomp is my duvet on my bed, which she is snuggled up on now, chomping on her 'carrot' toy. I have been glued to a few channels on Youtube recently. One of those is AllThatGlitters21 -this girl is my idol. She's amazing, funny, very clever (also at university) and is completely crazy. Her name is Elle Fowler and she uploads all sorts of interesting videos, check her out at: www.youtube.com/allthatglitters21 and at www.youtube.com/ellesglittergossip
Her sister also has a site: www.youtube.com/juicystar07
and another one I have been hooked on is MissChevious: www.youtube.com/MissChevious

KANDEE JOHNSON. This girl is just god damn funny. I laugh out loud at her crazy videos. She dances, she bakes, she sings, and is a make up artists, and turns herself (and shows us how to turn ourselves) into our favourite characters, actors, models, etc. Check her out at www.youtube.com/kandeejohnson I think.
