....to not weigh myself for a week (I weigh myself every morning) and I was pleasantly surprised for it not to ahve any adverse effect on my weight. I was also challenged to take a step back from the maple syrup plan and again was pleasantly surprised. i STILL WEIGH 13ST 2.5LBS! But having accepted and completed the challenge I've decided to go back to my version of the maple syrup plan and focus on the up coming holidays. I don't know how I managed to get in and stay in a positve frame of mind but i am and its working for me!
I weighed myself first thing and I weighed 13 st 2.5lbs the same as yesterday. I'm in a really good postive frame of mind and if I could be in his frame of mind even being the weight I am now wouldn't bother me. I just hate the days where I'm in such a negative frame of mind that I beat myself up mentally and emotionally so much it feels like torture.
But I feel being in a positive frame of mind I can continue this gradual loss and loook forward to wearing all the beautiful clothes I have currently confined to the wardrobe.
...I'm absolutley amazed. I was away from last Thursday until yesterday evening and although I could have at a pinch carried on with the Maple syrup diet I decided to see what would happen if I came off it. And what happened............NOTHING!?!
i WEIGHED MYSELF THIS MORNING i AM EXACTLY THE SAME AS I WAS LAST WEEK 13st 2.5lbs; in fact I didn't believe the scales so I go back on and off again several times!
This is what puzzles me why sometimes when you just eat what you want you don't gain weight and why at other times you do? Totally baffles me. Whilst I was away I had some chocolate, I even had a several packets of crisps and I had a salad every day that had blue cheese (it was orange with the blue mould through it and totally delicious), egg, and mackeral and mayonnaise. And I was drinking decaffinated coffe with skimmed milk in and a cube of sugar each time.
So today I'm back home and want to see by doing the detox for the week if it makes a difference after not being on it for five days.
I weighed myself for the first time since 29th February and I've lost another 1 and 1/2 lbsso I now weigh 13 st 2 and 1/2 lbs. This is good considering I survived Morther's Day and lots of chocolate and now fast approaching time of the month. It's easy for me to carry this plan on but not particulary good in long term. I hope by the end of the week to be under 13 st then I'm going to re assess how to go from there. Watch this space.
