Description : A quintessential look into a day in my life. I'm a crazy, sexy, cool, college chick with goals, dreams, and drama. Come read what's going on in my world!
Sup, Last night I kept thinking about this Uber sexy actor who played in the movie Stomp the Yard (Brian White, Columbus Short, Chris Brown, and Meagan Good), that's when I got to thinking... What is sexy and who do we consider sexy. There have been actors for years who we consider sexy, but what makes them that way? When we see an actor (male/female) who has been defined by a reputable magazine as sexy, we tend to automatically agree. But why? Do we only see those actors as sexy or do we find them attractive as well?
Make no mistake that being labeled sexy does not qualify that person as being attractive. Example: Wesley Snipes (Blade trilogy, the contractor, Disappearing acts) has been considered sexy in several rag mags, but I can not find one woman to agree that he is handsome. Or take actor Bencio Del Toro (21 Grams, Sin City, and Traffic)... he is known as the ruddy looking Brad Pitt of Hollywood. While he is a good actor, he is not noted as being one of the more attractive actors of Hollywood. However, I heard through the grapevine that women find him sexy. Hmm.
So what does it mean to be sexy? I think being sexy is being confident , having some physical feature that stands out in a positive way, and having a sensuous personality. I think those three attributes qualifies someone as being sexy. If the person has dimples, a stellar physic, great smile, million dollar swagger, or succulent lips, etc. coupled with confidence and personality... they equate to being sexy. So who is sexy? We the people, tend to think sexy when looking at celebs. These people tend to have what's called the "IT" factor. The IT factor tends to have the attributes aforementioned along with the skill needed for the trade (i.e.: acting skills). The rag mags we read rank many celebs based on these attributes I mentioned, which is how we get playmate of the year, world's sexiest man/woman, Miss Universe, etc. We look at how they look and if the mag says they are sexy then the physical features we see is what we equate to being sexy. If you do not fit that mold then you are not "sexy". However that is not true. We are not cookie cutter human beings and while we may like things similarly conversely we will also dislike some things. What I find sexy about a person will vary from what you find sexy about them. Case in point, while someone thinks Benicio Del Toro's lips are sexy, I may find his swagger sexy. Did you get my point? Back to the sexy guy I was thinking about. I am posting a pic of him, just to give you an idea of what I think is sexy, I will even point it out. So, what do you think sexy means and who do you find sexy (the person or people do not have to be celebs... as much as some people may want to, they will never look like their fav celebs. That is not reality, so please don't try.)
Pic = Brian White of "Stomp the Yard" I think he is both attractive and sexy. He has a nice build (I have the pic with his shirt off as my desktop lol), nice smile and creamy skin (even super model Tyra Banks pointed that out).
please follow the photos I have posted on this subject.
Sup, So its Labor (labour) day weekend here in the States and what a glorious yet freaky weekend it has been. Yesterday I decided to sit on the patio to read my current novel (Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I had read the Da Vinci Code and had wanted to read A&D. It set me back 25 cents at library book sale) with my elder cat Pebbles. It was nearing 8 pm when I decided to quit reading ... the sun was disappearing quickly and dusk was settling in. I looked around... there is a rec field within my view so I looked at the people playing tennis, basketball, and soccer. I then glanced to my right to look up at this tall tree in which my kittens from years ago sleep eternally. That is when I noticed a pink illuminated light in the blog. It had no shape or form, I knew immediately it was not a plane or anything like one. I was in such awe I couldn't signal for my mum who was probably 25 feet away in the kitchen. I watched for about 10 seconds and then the light went behind some clouds... there was a clearing just beyond the clouds.... I waited and waited for the light to resume its course in the blog. But it never came out. I can not tell you what I saw, I can only provide the description I just gave you. Once I decided I wasn't going to wait anymore, I went into the house and told my mom. She was listened, but she could not hide how skeptical she was. My older brother has stopped in and I also told him. He made a comment like I need to lay off the drugs or get on some... lol. Later my brother came to apologize because the local news reports had claimed some people near the shore had seen lights similar to what I described to him. The lights the shore observers saw seemed to have been some unidentified ball of fire object that crashed into the water. My light didn't crash anywhere, it disappeared behind I tiny patch of clouds. Hmm. Around 12am my mom told me to come quickly something odd was in the blog and she believed it was related to what I had seen. I grabbed my robe and flip flops and went to the patio door. Immediately I saw three shining things in the blog. They were twice the viewing size of a star (without a telescope) and quite similar to a planet. I knew that planets didn't change colors... some sort of green to pink. It seemed to have a tail. They also twinkled. The size of it made me think they could have been planets, but again, planets don't change colors, nor are spaced so close together. The third twinkling object actually moved. Not quickly... but like it was almost unnoticeable. The reason why I knew it moved was because I had looked at the distance between it and the rooftop in front of me. I became very excited when I realized it had moved. I had been staring at all three for nearly 30 minutes when I realized number three had moved a great deal from its original position. Oddly only one plane came even close to the unexplained phenomena in the blog. This was odd because we have a lot air traffic in my area... I'm not too far from a couple of airports. We watched the twinkles for about another 30 minutes... the first two had not moved... or so it seemed. I could not really reference them with an object because they were much further up and away from trees or roof tops. Later I watched the re-broadcast of the news report of the sightings by the shore. It didn't detail anything different than what my brother had stated to me. I called my local news company and relayed what I saw. I could hear the person on the other end writing my story down, but I have no idea if he had planned to pass it on. I didn't really care. I just wanted to give my account of what I saw.
In other news, I got to see Rob Zombie's Halloween. It was a good remake and it provided a lot of details the original did not. I usually don't like to watch horror films, but I figured I had saw the original, it would just be a refresher of what what
Sup, There is a lottery going on my state where the winner stands to gain over 200 million US dollars. I sat on the patio with mi mum and recapped what I would do if I were to win. I stated in my mind, that I am thankful for what I have been blessed with, however, I know I could help a lot of people if I were to win. I would want to set up a trust for my younger siblings, make mi mum a multi-millionaire, set up a trust for my extended family, they would have like a built in bank to help them if they need it. They could cash in if they want to attend college, maybe they are late on a utility bill or their mortgage, etc. But I would have the money set up so their is an allowance per month so that the trust is not abused. I would then find property in which I could build a small gated-community for my immediate family. After the small details of furniture shopping and general shopping, I would want to hire an accountant to manage my funds. Next I would want to hire a few think tanks (people who brainstorm on ideas) to help me come up with a non-profit organization or I would be grand-fathered into one. I would spend the next 20-25 years helping others. I would set my own time, but I would have a hands on approach with the weekly operations of the organization. I would probably have early morning hours and then have the rest of the day off. So I'd work like 8am - 12pm. The rest of the time I would spend with family. In addition to my organization, I would give yearly contributions to other companies like food banks, Red Cross, and my alma mater(s). If you won an exorbitant amount of money, what would you do with it?
Sup, August is almost coming to a close. Is it me or has August been the fastest month of the year thus far? It came in with a whisper, and its going just as quietly. This August has been a wash... its been warm, its been hot, cool, wet, and gray. I'm ready for Fall to make its grand entrance. I love the leaves changing colors and falling playfully to the ground, the wind blowing in my hair and tickling my face and ears. I love the Halloween and Christmasy atmosphere... a lot of people tend to be in good spirits and the decorations take me back to my child hood.
