Lots of the youngsters mention money as a factor for not giving birth to the babies they want to have. I have started to think about how possible it is to raise a child in the UK without state intervention and without endless money being dripped into your purse from the state. While this dripping of money seems a good think it eventually makes it impossible for you to be truely independant.
So how much would you have to have to buy or rent the cheapest of houses and could you really grow your own food?
Do you have to educate your child in a school, or can you let your child learn its own lessons for life. What about the third level of education, which 20 years ago was only available for the 5% at the top of the IQ league, nowadays we offer this level of education to 60%. What has changed?
