Check out all the latest from the Sofeminine team blog to see what it's really like working for one of the UK's largest online magazines!
Winter has set in and the shops are all a glitter with fairy lights and decorations. With so much sparkle on the shelves it's no wonder we've been tempted to take our addiction to shimmer and sparkle to the next level, by experimenting with sparkly make-up.
We've tried and tested and lusted after all manner of sparkly make-up must-haves - check them out in our round up.
With the change in weather from groggy and warm to foggy and cold, we're sure it's not just our Beauty Editor who has had a trans-seasonal skin dilemma.
She's been putting a new cosmeutical brand Is Clinical to the test to see if it can make a lasting difference to her skin - so far so good - it's an A list favourite, so we'll keep you posted on whether it really works in the fight against break-outs and blemishes. In the meantime check out our Skin SOS Survival Guide.
Of course beauty is a way of life at sofeminine, and as girls on the go, we're always on the lookout for beauty shortcuts. That's why we've been trying out the latest manicures that promise to keep nails looking perfectly polished for weeks on end. We have been super impressed with Red Carpet Manicures - finally a home kit for gel nail varnishes that lasts and lasts:
Our Beauty Editor's nails look pretty fine we think you'll agree - they stayed that way for a good ten days too!
Another perk for working at sofeminine is the free food - you never know what is going to come through the post.
In recent weeks we've been scoffing on cheddar cheese from Mull of Kintyre, which is the kind of cheese that needs to be savoured and appreciated (something we've had no problem doing)!
And we have put the new Bailey's Biscotti to the test (great with ice, and delicious with coffee) and have been eagily awaiting the official relaunch of Cadbury's Wispa Gold which is being permanently re-released to tie in with the Olympic Games next year.
As well as all this we've collectively been growing bigger boobs (not because of any chocolate, cheese or Bailey's related weight gain of course).
The whole sofeminine team got re-measured by Freya lingerie and it turned out that our humble B-cups could actually pass for double D's (and beyond!) - all we needed was the right bra expert!
Check out our Freya lingerie review - finally a way to have bigger boobs without surgery!
