He developed musical interest at an early age, since his mother played the banjo and his father played violin. The teenage Hunt was a banjoist with a local band while he was attending college at Ohio State University, and during his college years he switched from banjo to trombone. He joined Jean Goldkette's Orchestra in 1928.
Pee Wee Hunt was the co-founder and featured trombonist with the Casa Loma Orchestra, but he left the group in 1943 to work as a Hollywood radio disc jockey before joining the Merchant Marine near the end of World War II. He returned to the West Coast music scene in 1946. His "Twelfth Street Rag" was a number one hit in September 1948.
I always wake up in good mood very early in the morning...every new morning is a wish to spend a nice day, watching over my husband my grown up kids and the little ones.
I am an optimist woman who has good days and some bad ones, but today everything is just fine. It all started with a lovely gift, running morning errands...having a joyful lunch with my oldest daughter and last but not least some good news from my youngest son.
Gosh the day is not over yet (at least in this side of the hemisphere) and is turning into my happiest day ever...
Hope it works for the rest of the month. I will keep you posted. Do u remember Madonna´s performance in the MTV music Awards 1990 with "Vogue". Strike The Point!
Have a great weekend everybody out there and please drive safe.♥
